I am delighted to announce that the Lunchtime Chess Club will continue in Autumn Term 2025 at GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy. Paul McKeown will continue to run the club, and it will continue on Monday lunchtimes.
The chess club will run on Monday lunchtimes from 12:00 to 12:40 for Years 3 and 4 and from 13:00 to 13:40 for Years 5 and 6. The club will start on 8th September, and will run until 8th December, with a break for half-term on 27th October and on 3rd November for an INSET Day. The club will therefore be held on 12 sessions in Autumn Term 2025.
The cost of the club will be £108.00 for the term (i.e. £9.00 per session) and will accept a maximum of 14 children per session. All standards will be catered for.
