Twickenham Junior Chess Congress 2023

Richmond Juniors held a qualifying tournament on Saturday 2nd December. The tournament was held at Orleans Park School. The results can be found at:

The qualifiers were as follows:

  • U8 – Reyansh Kavalur, Aadvik Vadyar & Edmond Cranfield (5 pts);  Vedant Nedungadi, William Pathmaseelan, Ethan Pak, Billy Adams & Ivor Ivanov (4pts)
  • U10 Major – Yichen Xiong (6 pts); Nathaniel Waller (5 pts); Riaan Kumar, Iaroslav Bunbich, Aidan Sojitra, William Lin & Denis Mishenin (4½ pts)

Best Girls in the U8 were Sofia Kerr & Sharanya Pandey (3pts), in the U10 was Emmanuele Li (3½ pts), and in the U12 was Dominique Ritchie (3½ pts).

Twickenham U18 Congress 2022 – Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th December

Richmond Juniors held an ECF and FIDE rated standard play for Under 18s on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December 2022. The time control will 60 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move made.
