- Round 3 – Saturday 16:30 – 19:30
- Round 4 – Sunday 10:00 – 13:00
- Round 5 – Sunday 14:00 – 17:00
Time Control
60 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move.
Pairings
Players will be paired in each section using a computerised Swiss system, which will be posted online, as well as at the venue. Pairings will be posted online at: TBA. No discussion will be entered into concerning the pairings. If a player has to leave early, please inform the controllers.
Rating
All games will be sent for ECF & FIDE rapidplay rating.

- 1st Prize U14 – £100
- 1st Prize U18 – £150
- 2nd Prize U14 – £60
- 2nd Prize U18 – £80
- 3rd Prize U14 – £40
- 3rd Prize U18 – £50
- Best Girl U14 – £60
- Best Girl U18 – £80
Ties will be broken with Bucholz Cut-1, then by Individual Encounter.
Withdrawal
A player may withdraw at any point up to the closing of normal entries on Thursday, 28th November, subject to a £5 administration fee. Withdrawal subsequent to this forfeits the full entry fee.
Refreshments
Hot & cold drinks, hot food, sandwiches and snacks will be provided on-site from 11:00 until 15:00.
Disclaimer and Parental Responsibility
The organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, theft or accident during the tournament. Adult supervision will only be provided in the chess playing areas. Parents are responsible for their children during the tournament.
