Richmond Junior Chess club continues in Autumn Term 2023 at Orleans Park School for face to face chess chess teaching and play on Saturday, 2nd September, meeting weekly, from 2 to 5 p.m., until Saturday 25th November.
Autumn Term 2023 will consist of 12 sessions:
- September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
- October 7, 21, 28
- November 4, 11, 18, 25
Please note that there will be no classes on Saturday 14th October (Hampton Qualifier for the LJCC), nor on Saturday 2nd December (Twickenham Qualifier for the LJCC).
We hope to run an Under 18 tournament on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December for our older students, as well.
We encourage all our children to take part in these tournaments. The club will be closed – what else will you be doing?
To book for the new term, you will have to use our new online Membership Form and online Booking Form.
The online Membership Form imposes some limitations in numbers who can apply for various types of classes. Please respect these limitations and do not proceed to the Booking Form if the class that you need for one or more of your children is unavailable. Drop us an email, instead, to enquire whether there may be some flexibility. Please get in touch should you have any problems or suggestions. Inevitably we should anticipate some teething problems.
